Great value and simple to rent

Amy does not belong in a customer service role. She does not like to entertain questions nor deviate from the process in order to help customers understand all of the elements of storage rental. 1. She seemed annoyed that I wanted to see the unit first before signing my contract. 2. Regarding the Orange Door insurance - I expressed I had spoken to my insurance agent and was already covered. She curtly remarked I could cancel in 30 days. When I asked how I could cancel, she said the process would be in the Orange Door brochure. There was an Orange Door brochure right there on the counter and I wanted one for reference. She remarked, "there will be a brochure in your unit when you move in." I indicated I wanted a brochure in advance of that as I would be cancelling the insurance ASAP. She was not too keen on me taking a brochure that was sitting "right there". 3. Once I got the distinct impression my questions were imposing upon her routine, I expressed I felt I was bothering her. She replied (and I'm not kidding) - "what, do you expect me to be: upbeat and friendly?" I was really taken back by this and then she said I had an attitude. 4. As the process was coming to a close, I requested her name. She replied, "sure, I will write it for you in BIG letters for you on this card" and handed me a PS business card. WOW -- I'm no "Karen", but this was beyond the pale. Amy does not need to be in a position where she interacts with the public.

Very easy online process, no need to go into the office unless you wanted to. Loved that. I also love the app to open the gate.

We had a good experience reserving online. Good units, and pricing. Our only issue was the maps were slightly confusing for such a large indoor area. We struggled to find our unit. We loved that we can unlock the gate in our app though. Very convenient. There seemed to be a slippery leak on inside of the facility, but that was not that big of a deal. Overall good experience.

I arrived a bit confused-i was not sure as to what size I will need, then the fact that I'm disabled and living on a fixed income. The youngster you have working there, he asked me numerous relevant questions-things I never considered. I used his knowledge, and my consideration of what I would require, and found a unit, quite affordable and big enough to accommodate me. He went far beyond the scope of his job, he showed great communication skills, eye contact and respect. I commend this guy (I wish now I would have asked his name) and I dont know what you are paying him-you are not paying him enough! This guy is a compliment to your facility. The place is clean, well kept. On a 1 to 10 scale, it gets a 12. Bravo!

Everyone we spoke to at Public Storage in Mason, OH, was friendly and very helpful: Kevin, Lisa Joy, and Darnece. We chose this place because of its cleanliness, climate-controlled units, very helpful staff, and location. Kevin introduced us to the place; Lisa Joy spoke with us on the phone, explaining how to make a reservation online; and, Darnece checked us in the day we went to get our unit. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

This is our second use of this Public Storage facility and have been happy both times. We made the reservation online but had to go to the facility to sign paperwork. Lisa greeted me at the door and walked me through all the paperwork and made sure I understood everything that was being put in front of me. She then personally took me to the storage locker to verify that it was the size ordered, that it would fit our storage needs, and that it was clean. I had a few questions that she ably answered. We then tested my lock and the entrance code and were all done. For price and cleanliness you can't beat this location. Thanks Lisa for a great visit!
